Данная статья написана на основе проведенного в январе-феврале 2008 года Северо-Осетинским центром социальных исследования ИСПИ РАН совместно с Северо-Осетинским Институтом гуманитарных и социальных исследований имени В.И. Абаева Владикавказского научного Центра РАН, на основе массового этносоциологического исследования в республиках СКФО РФ на тему: «Социальные установки населения республик Северо-Кавказского федерального округа Российской Федерации: этносоциологический анализ».

The article is written on the basis of the research in January-February, 2008, by the North Ossetian Centre for Social Research of Institute of Social and Political Studies of Russian Academy of Sciences (ISPR RAS) together with the V. I. Abaev North Ossetian Institute of Humanities and Social Study of the Vladikavkaz Scientific Center of RAS, on the basis of a mass ethno-sociological research in the Republics of North Caucasian Federal District of the Russian Federation on "Social attitudes of the population of the republics of the North Caucasian Federal District of the Russian Federation: the ethno-sociological analysis".
During the process of socio-economic and cultural development of society the enrichment of national and social aspects of life of different peoples and social groups take place. The processes occurring in this environment lead to the standardization of certain elements of life. Norms and values of life, maintenance of domestic processes, their temporal and spatial structure of the object-defined level of development of productive forces, the nature of social relations, cultural background, level of urbanization. On the one hand, and on the other – the social experience of the North Caucasus said that nothing can be certain.
Trust or distrust of the population to government institutions is contingent upon many factors, but the socio-economic and political situation is dominant in the country and the region in a given historical period. The lack of stability in the country leads to instability in interpersonal relationships.
