The collected field data on Sokiryanschina indicate that one of the materialized ritual locus is a road, which is the embodiment of the theme of "transition". The beginning and the end of the road are the gates that divide the space into an "open" and "closed", sacred and secular. Passing through the gate acquires the status of a semantic shift of symbols. The emergence of a new marker of ritual space revealed archwise design above the gates, replacing the traditional "giltse" as "stranding the family nest". Territory, where the genus unification takes place, is the yard. Such unification is embodied in a round-trip around the sacral designated attribute, which is the table as a "sacred center of the house".
Modern wedding rites of Sokyryanschina almost completely preserved main rituals of the wedding and attributes-markers of ritual space that are semantically related to the agrarian culture, have a semantic content of fertility, perform separating, safety and unifiing functions at different stages of the development of the wedding action. It should be noted that modern rites for a long time have been formed under the interference of the traditional rites of Moldova and Bukovina (rituals of snapping off the pocket-shaped bun, tying hands of newlyweds, bridal blessing for a happy marriage, wheat shedding, a ceremony of "overflowing"). Recorded a number of new ritual acts ("washing of feet" of mother-in-law by the son-in-law, "garter tossing", "bouquet throwing", "transfer of newlyweds on their own").
