В статье говорится о проблеме лакунарности текстов, написанных на общем для автора и адресата языке, в аспекте методике обучения старших школьников текстовой деятельности. Исходя из данных, полученных экспериментальным путём, автор приходит к выводу о том, что для полноценной текстовоспринимающей деятельности школьник должен под руководством учителя овладеть приёмами заполнения смысловых скважин текста.

The article deals with the problem of texts gaps written in common language for the author and the recipient, in terms of the methodology of teaching high school students of the text activity.
Producing the text, the author relies on its understanding, so does the presentation of ideas in the text as detailed in view of a given situation and their communicative intent. However, the difference between the group of potential recipients and their thesauruses deprives to achieve an adequate understanding of the text by all the readers of this test. There are abruptions of meaning in the text – a gap, which should be made up by the reader itself, focusing on his own knowledge and life view. The gap is formed when translating from one language to another, and in texts that are written in common language for the author and the recipient. In the analysis of works during literature classes and fragments of texts in Russian language lessons there is an attempt to remove all the ambiguities associated with gaps of individual words or blocks of the text. However, lack of experience, a decline of interest in reading leads to difficult text interpreting by students who face the "dark places" of the text where the author resorts to allusions, hints, aposiopesis, allegory and metaphor.
Based on the data obtained experimentally, the author comes to the conclusion that for the complete text perception a pupil has to master the techniques of filling of text semantic holes under the guidance of a teacher.
