Автор статьи рассматривает возможности исследования присубстантивного датива в немецком языке с использованием временных срезов, характеризует два временных среза, а так же рассматривает анализ номинальных конструкций в рамках двух временных периодов.

The author considers possibilities of research of a adnominal dative case in German with use of temporary cuts, characterizes two temporary cuts and considers the analysis of nominal designs within two temporary periods.
Process of transformation of verbal constructions in adnominal is noted by intensity of the use in colloquial style and in press language that is caused by a row of intra – and extralinguistic factors.
Social and economic development, scientific and technical progress, wars and other phenomena of socio-historical character, and also aspiration to saving of time at communication conduct to emergence of new constructions (substantive) and to the smaller use of other constructions (verbal) that, in turn, finds reflection in language system in the form of emergence of nominative constructions.
Studying a adnominal dative case in German in two chronological cuts, it is possible to designate this process as the analysis of regularities of functioning of case system in which two-dimensional character is inherent: on the one hand, establishment of functioning of a adnominal dative case and its structurally functional development, on the other – the accounting of features of the use and realization of this construction during each concrete historical period (1946 – 1955, 2005 – 2013) is investigated.
