В данной статье анализируются общие коэффициенты брачности и разводимости в Северной Осетии, возрастной состав вступающих в брак и разводящихся, брачная структура молодежи и ее динамика между Всероссийскими переписями населения 2002 и 2010 годов. Все показатели, характеризующие брачное поведение и брачное состояние молодежи республики, рассмотрены в разрезе город-село и по полу.

For many years the demographic processes in general, including marriage and family behavior of young people in the regional context, have been studied at an insufficient level. Accordingly, in this area there are a lot of unexplored or under-studied questions, one of which is the subject of research for this article. In this study on the basis of relevant statistics are calculated and examined the general characteristics of marriage and divorce rates in North Ossetia and the age structure of married and divorced former spouses. The marriage and family structure of young people and its dynamics between the Russia-wide censuses of 2002 and 2010 are shown. Our analysis has shown a significant deterioration of this structure. Specifically, during the reporting period the number and proportion of married young people decreased, while the number and proportion of never-married, divorced and widowed young people increased. This trend, of course, adversely affects the demographic situation in the republic and above all the birth rates. The solution of problems in the field of marriage and family relationships of the young people in the republic requires the combined efforts of the regional authorities, public associations and the members of families themselves.
