В статье представлена концепция организационно-экономического механизма системной защиты фирмы, обоснованы его специфика, функциональная структура и эволюционная функция. С позиций процессного подхода обоснована логическая модель данного механизма. Дана эволюционная интерпретация экономического содержания защиты. Введено понятие защитной инфраструктуры фирмы, определены стратегия и тактика её развития, предложена модель её институциональной организации.

A firm's interaction with the environment is carried out in two principle ways – protection and attack- and their alternation is defined by correlation of forces of these systems. On the part of the environment an attack amounts to a concerted action of external subjects on initiation of threats for a firm. Protection is a firm's organized reaction to threats which emerge in external and internal environment. The function of protection is inherently peculiar for the activity of any firm in view of realization safety needs. But as well as any other backbone function, protection can be rendered to outsourcing, i.e. an external contractor's executing under contract. Protection is a method of a firm's active-defensive behavior. As far as a firm is a complex economic system then its mechanism of protection against threats should be system-based as well. The functional consistency of this mechanism lies in its coverage of all actions, operations, operating cycles and business processes of a firm. The structural consistency of a firm's mechanism of protection lies in taking into account all spheres and levels of construction of its intra-economics- working places, professional and project teams, branches, businesses, system and infrastructure processes. The evolutional vector of this mechanism means orientation to a necessary monitoring and sufficient correction of ends and means, tools and methods, forms of organization, institutional and information support. The theory of a firm's systematic protection is rather a recent trend concerning fundamental and applied economic researches. It becomes more and more significant in the age of globalization which leads to speeding-up economic changes, promoting the role of innovations, strengthening perspective uncertainties and shifting of accents to transactional factors of development of economic entities.
