В статье рассматривается содержание и структура понятия «языковой личности». Автор, опираясь на многоуровневую модель Ю.Н. Караулова, экстраполирует ее на процесс формировании языковой личности выпускника школы и студента вуза. Как показывает исследование, системный подход к решению проблемы формирования языковой личности студентов предполагает: овладение обучающимися базовыми знаниями о языке как необходимом условии полноценной и эффективной речевой деятельности; умение воспринимать тексты и строить собственные речевые произведения в устной и письменной форме; способность оперировать усвоенными и переработанными текстами разных стилей и жанров; владение нормами культуры речи и речевого этикета как необходимого компонента профессиональной культуры; умение адаптироваться к меняющимся условиям языковой среды и активно воздействовать на эту среду.

The article considers the content and structure of the concept of "linguistic personality". Particular importance is given to the multi-level model of the linguistic personality by Y.U. Karaulov, which has the following structure: lexicon (verbal and semantic level), thesaurus (cognitive level), pragmaticon (motivational level). Some scientists define the fourth, reflexive and creative level, which reflects the personal attitudes and values of the linguistic personality, its ability to use in the communication process various speech genres and picturesque riches of the Russian language.
The article gives a brief overview of the Federal educational standard of the Russian language and literature for secondary schools and emphasizes the role of school in forming the language personality of a graduate. The author describes the main problems of forming the linguistic personality of a student in the process of studying in the university, such as the need for speech development of the student, the improvement of the language (linguistic, psychological, social), mastering of situational forms of speech in the conditions of professional orientation of the study. Language education, and particularly personal aspects of speech culture, which indicate the readiness of the student for professional career, plays the most important role in forming the language personality of a student at the modern university.
The task of formation of linguistic personality of the student in the learning process requires a systemic approach to the organization of the educational environment, taking into account factors such as professional orientation of study, encouragement of students' self-education, formation of social values, humanitarization of higher education, versatility of the educational environment, its creative direction.
