Предлагаемая статья затрагивает ряд проблемных аспектов, связанных с противостоянием возрастающей террористической угрозы в Южной Азии в целом и в Бангладеш, в частности. Автор также уделяет внимание проблеме незаконной миграции из Бангладеш в сопредельные государства, в первую очередь, в Индию. Отдельно рассмотрен процесс ужесточения законодательства Бангладеш в вопросе терроризма.

The article addresses problems related to fighting against an increasing terrorism threat in South Asia, in particular in the People's Republic of Bangladesh. The author of the article pays attention to the problem of illegal migration from the People's Republic of Bangladesh to the neighbouring countries, in the first place to India. The article also deals with the process of toughening legislation against terrorism in the People's Republic of Bangladesh. The Republic of India, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and the People's Republic of Bangladesh are considered to be the states where terrorism is most widespread in the region, but the People's Republic of Bangladesh is undoubtedly regarded as a relatively calm place. However, a sharp increase in the casualty rate in 2013 raises reasonable concerns because of an increase in the number of terrorist groups and their gradual redeployment from the countries of South Asia to the People's Republic of Bangladesh. Terrorist groups leave the countries of South Asia whose governments take measures in order to make them leave the territory. The author of the article thinks that the amendment to the anti-terrorism law (this amendment was accepted in 2013) increases the risk of corruption.
