Annotation
The journal publishes scientific articles and information about books on the theory and history of culture and cultural practices. The main purpose of the journal is to contribute to the development of the methodology of an interdisciplinary synthesis of knowledge of the problems of the formation of modern culture and civilizations. Materials broach theoretical and methodological problems, deal with promotion of the ideas and methodologies of an interdisciplinary synthesis, preparation and bringing of programs of basic and applied research to a scientific audience. The articles are written by cultural specialists, leading experts in the field of social sciences and humanities and researchers working on dissertations on the problems of national and world culture. The journal is designed for specialists in the field of culture, students and postgraduate students, as well as all people interested in the problems of culture and civilization.
